Peninsula Youth Ballet's 2021 virtual 'Nutcracker Suite'.
Produced by Ayako School of Ballet under the direction of Ayako Takahashi, this magical performance was created almost entirely via Zoom with only 1 or 2 in-person rehearsals prior to filming in the studio. Narrated by PYB and ASB alumna, Dominique Larose, now First Soloist with Northern Ballet in the UK, the performance is a delightful and joyous testimony to the resilience of all our dedicated students.
'Nutcracker Suite' is dedicated to the memory of our beloved former ASB student, Haley Takeda. We honor her life and presence among us in dance. May she dance forever in our hearts.
